Greetings,

 

Family Engagement and Community Involvement are key to the success of Newton County Schools. Here you will find ways to connect with initiatives currently available to maximize our efforts in meeting the ever changing scope of education and bringing opportunities to our students and staff.

Parental and Family Engagement is crucial for the success of students; therefore we, at Newton County Schools, want to provide you tools for your resources. Please visit each campus' Family Engagement web page. To make it easy, click on the campus link(s) below to access the age appropriate Parents Make a Difference resource. This resource updates monthly, so be sure to visit the web page frequently.

As your child transitions to the next grade, a bit of uncertainty may surface as to the academic expectations of this new chapter, we’ve made a valuable resource available called A Family Guide for Student Success. It promotes Parent Engagement in the home and gives some great hands-on activities for interactive learning.  There is also a Spanish version available.
